Hacking Competitions

A channel where hundreds of researchers compete to find the flaws in your systems and report them to you, instead of exploiting them.

  • Pay only for validated findings
  • Triage included
  • Real-time reports

Why a channel

No channel, nowhere to report.

When you have a channel to receive vulnerabilities in exchange for rewards, you discourage crime and strengthen your environment. Without one, you're open to attacks 24 hours a day.

How it works

From reward pool to clean report.

You set the budget, we run the competition and the triage. Only real, validated vulnerabilities reach your team.

  1. You deposit the pool upfront. It stays reserved and is only paid out for real, validated vulnerabilities.

Pay for results

You only pay for what's found.

Your pool is a ceiling, not a fee. How much of it is paid depends on the most severe vulnerability found, and the rest goes back to your organization.

Advantages

Why teams choose competitions.

More coverage than a single team, the cost of a fixed budget, and none of the overhead of running it yourself.

Strength in numbers

Hundreds of researchers with different skills and approaches test your application at the same time, finding what a single team or tool would miss.

Questions

The usual doubts, answered.

  • Exploiting a flaw is a crime with real legal consequences. Reporting it through Bypassec is legal, authorized and rewarded. Researchers are identified on the platform and follow the competition rules, so the incentive is always to report, never to attack.

  • Then the reward pool goes back to your organization, since you only pay for validated findings. A clean result is valuable too: it shows your application held up against hundreds of researchers.

  • Yes. Competitions produce documented, validated security testing, with evidence and retests, which supports the requirements of frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

  • No. Competitions target applications that are already public, and no confidential information is shared with researchers. Private competitions may use test accounts you create for them.
